RAFT RACE 2009
There were three entries in this year's Raft Race. Nicol Kerr and Andrew Ramponi with their deck chair and table; Derek Timmins, Tom Colston and John Feeney in their three man float and Olivier in the bath again.

Nicol and Andrew were almost a nonstarter, after running into problems on entering the Forth!!
Finally, they're off!!! Olivier got himself into great paddle style, very closely followed by three men on a float!......
What happened to Nicol and Andrew???? Well......now you see them!!! Then you don't!!!

And the winner is........Olivier in his boat!! Closely followed by three men in their float and the booby prize going to the upside down raft with no chair or table to be seen!!

Once the formality of the Race was over, the kids were able to splash around and head out on some of the safer boats for a wee spin! Here are a few more pics showing how the day was enjoyed.
