DAILY UPDATE ON THE WALKERS
Monday 18th May - Heard from the lads this evening and they're off to a great start!! They've made it to their first hostel stop through some rough weather but sound in good spirits. Couple of wee moans about sore feet but they seem to raring to go again tomorrow!
Come on you guys!!! You're doing our Gala proud!!!!
Tuesday 19th May - Weather is not being good to our lads. Has been a very wet walk for them today and they have sore feet! Roughly at the half way mark now though and spirits are still high. Someone (who will remain nameless) fell into a burn today and got soaked!!!!
Keep going lads!!! We're behind you all the way!!!
Wednesday 20th May - Bit of rain again today. Views are wonderful on the journey and weather has cleared up this evening. They are looking forward to a well earned beer!! 15 miles left till completion.
On the home strait now boys!!! Way to go!!!!
Thursday 21st May -
They've done it!!!!!!!!!!Weather was miserable yet again....but they battled through regardless!!! For anyone keep up with it.....fair play to them Ferry Boys!! 15 miles
Thursday 21st May - Still sore feet...I know they are looking for volunteers to soothe their feet.....but....they have done it!! Very emotional for them....90 odd miles walking...if you haven't alreaddy then sponsor the guys for keeping their Gala going!!!!

Sponsored Walk
The West Highland Way in 4 Days!!!
A few of the brave, strong lads from the Village are walking the West Highland Way as a sponsored walk for Gala Fundraising.
Starting on Monday 18th May in Milngavie and finishing on Thursday 21st May in Fort William.
We will be calling round looking for sponsors very shortly.
